Privacy Policy

For a reading, you enter the first name, gender, date, exact time and city of birth for two people. The selected city provides coordinates and a historical time zone for the calculation. You do not need to create an account.

For a paid order, we keep an order identifier, price, payment status, preparation status and the materials needed to produce your PDF. Stripe processes payment details through its checkout. We do not receive or store your full card number or card security code. If you contact support, we receive the information you include in your message.

Hosting and security systems process technical request information, such as IP addresses, time stamps and browser information, to deliver the service and prevent abuse.

Birth details are processed on the server to calculate the charts. The free preview is assembled from prepared material and returned to your browser. It does not create a publicly accessible results page. The preview and submitted details are kept in the current browser session so you can continue without entering them again.

When you start a full reading, the order and its birth details are saved on the server. Preparation begins after payment is confirmed. Contracted AI services help write and edit the full reading from selected chart evidence. That authoring request uses substitute names and excludes the submitted names, dates, cities and coordinates. The chart evidence remains personal information and is handled as such.

We use your information to provide the requested service, process payment, recover interrupted preparation, provide support, prevent abuse and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. We do not sell personal information or use your birth details or reading to target advertisements.

An unpaid draft expires seven days after it is created. A completed reading and its personal source material are scheduled for deletion seven days after the PDF is ready. After a refund, the personal reading material is scheduled for deletion within seven days. An order still being prepared is retained while we complete it or resolve the issue. The order page displays the applicable download deadline.

Save your PDF before the deadline. Copies you download, share or keep in your browser remain under your control. You can remove browser copies by clearing Lumina’s site data or closing the relevant browser session.

Limited payment and accounting records may be retained separately for legal, tax, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes. Support correspondence, operational logs and service-provider records have separate retention requirements; the seven-day PDF window is not a promise that every technical or legally required record is erased at that time.

We use contracted website hosting, computation, database, file-storage and AI services to operate Lumina. They receive information needed for their role in delivering and protecting the service.

Stripe handles checkout, payment security, payment confirmation and refunds. Its own privacy policy also applies to its processing of payment information. You can read it at stripe.com/privacy.

On the English website, Google Analytics is optional. Our analytics events describe page visits and steps such as starting checkout or downloading a PDF. Our event code excludes names, birth details, chart content, private order identifiers and access keys. Advertising personalization is disabled. We do not use retargeting pixels.

Necessary browser storage supports your language choice, age eligibility check, calculation, private order access and cookie preference. These functions are needed to provide the requested service.

Google Analytics loads only after you allow analytics and complete the adult eligibility check. We also keep analytics off when your browser sends a Do Not Track (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Allowing analytics in Cookie settings does not override these signals. You can choose necessary technologies only and still use Lumina. Change your choice through Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops subsequent analytics collection; it does not automatically delete information already collected by the analytics provider.

Use only details you are entitled to provide, and make sure the other person knows how Lumina will use them. Entering an order does not let you provide that person’s legal consent on their behalf. Where their permission is required, obtain it from them before submitting their information. Do not use Lumina to monitor, harass or make consequential decisions about another person.

You or the other person can contact us to request access, correction or deletion of personal information. Include enough information to identify the order; we may need to verify the request before disclosing or changing records. Do not send card details or publish your private order link.

Additional rights may apply under the laws where you live. We consider requests under applicable law and explain any information we must retain. You may also have the right to contact your local privacy regulator.

You must be at least 18 to use Lumina, and both people in a reading must be adults. The form checks both birth dates in your browser before asking for other reading details. If either person is under 18, the form stops without submitting those dates. A necessary session flag remembers the eligibility result without storing the dates. Our server also checks the dates on submitted requests. If you believe we have received a child’s information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.

The date above identifies this policy version. For material changes, we will post a prominent notice on this website and update the date above. We will provide any additional notice required by applicable law. Updated wording does not remove rights that already apply to information or purchases handled under an earlier version.
