Precise calculation. A living language for your pair.
Lumina respects the Vedic system as a source of calculation and translates it into the language of your pair: how love is expressed by each person, where it can be hard to hear, and what helps you stay open to each other where you are different.
01
Birth data
Date, time, and city help locate the Moon, nakshatra, and other anchor points of the chart with precision.
02
Two charts
The server calculates both charts with Swiss Ephemeris, so the result does not rely on approximate client-side logic.
03
Eight kutas
Each kuta gives a separate calculated anchor: temperament, influence, support, closeness, friendship, behavior, shared direction, and deeper rhythm.
04
Relationship language
We keep respect for the source and translate the calculation into lived experience: what it means in conversation, closeness, and daily contact.
Thirty-six points are not one answer.
The final score is made of eight parts. Lumina shows not only the total, but where the support is, where tension appears, and what is worth naming.
Varna
1 pointInner temperament and the basic way each person meets the world.
Vashya
2 pointsHow the partners influence each other, and whether that exchange feels natural.
Tara
3 pointsSupport, recovery, and the feeling that contact helps each person move forward.
Yoni
4 pointsInstinctive rhythm of closeness, body, and response before long explanation.
Maitri
5 pointsFriendship of minds: how easily two people hear, explain, and respect each other's thought.
Gana
6 pointsBehavior in closeness, tension, and play: how character appears beside another person.
Bhakuta
7 pointsLong-term direction of the pair: home, plans, trajectory, and the shape of shared life.
Nadi
8 pointsDeeper rhythm of state: how people recover, overload, and affect each other's wellbeing.
The limits of the method matter too.
Why the Moon
In this tradition, the Moon describes emotional nature, mind, and the way inner balance returns. Compatibility is not built around the sun sign.
Why 36
Each of the eight kutas has its own weight. Together they create a maximum of 36 points, but the score remains a calculated anchor, not a rating of love.
Not a verdict
The reading does not decide whether two people should be together. It helps show where closeness arises more easily and where difference asks for more attention.
